A scientist discovers signals from space that appear to carry information concerning a series of seemingly unrelated natural disasters, occurring across the globe. Hoping to discover the source of these signals and who's behind them, the scientist and his wife set out on a trek to locate the intended recipient of the signals. What the couple eventually discovers is a small remote convent with occupants who are not really who they appear to be.

Painful to watch
Time moves so slow watching this movie. There are scenes even from the beginning that really are so drawn out, they serve no purpose at all. There are several "sequences" if you will with dialogue that are so ridiculous it is unintentionally laughable. I am sure Christopher Lee definitely regrets ever being part of this one. His acting job is actually okay in this movie though, the problem is the really weird editing, and really horrible supporting acting by others around him, with very poor special effects, and a plot that is almost laughable until the last 5 minutes, really makes this one a drag. If nothing else, give it a watch for it's accidental comedic value, or if you have a hard time falling asleep.

Sure not one of the best
Read somewhere that Christopher Lee was tricked into this one. He was announced the film would be full of famous co-stars. He ended up being the only real big name of the all show. Sue Lyon and Dean Jagger didn't help much either.
The other Scifi stuff Lee was not much proud of was "Starship Invasion" made in Canada approximatively the same year. Try not take those 2 titles too seriously, or else you are bound to a big desappointement.

End of My Patience
I've never been able to get all the way through this film, no matter how hard I try. And I'm the guy who can watch the Larry Buchanan movies over and over and enjoy them to pieces. Go figure.

Missed that one
The two bedroom scenes didn't add a thing, really stupid. Acting really poor except for Christopher Lee who is 87 now and still acting!! Too dark, maby the original film was better.

What? No disco music?
Boy, was this a flash from the past! Forget the plodding, stupid story; enjoy the cultural references, and the hair, clothing and car styles.
I downloaded the "DivX" file, which is actually an AVI. Video and audio quality are fine.

I was surprised...
I saw this film about a year ago... I wasn't expecting much but was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. The casting is interesting. The special effects are passable. The ending was the biggest surprise... it left me wanting more.
Maybe I'm too easily pleased. I give it a 4 because even when he's slumming it, Christopher Lee is worth watching.
